John Greirson

And was married to Margaret Greirson from the year 1930 until he's death in 1972.
John Greirson CBE was a pioneering Scottish documentary maker, often considered the father of British and Canadian documentary films.
In 1926, Greirson coined the term "documentary" in a review, of Robert Flaherity's, Monana.

- Granton Trawler, 1934
John Greirson went to university at the University of Glasgow and the University of Chicago, and then he returned to England in 1928.
As the founder of the British documentary film movement and it's leader for 40 years. Also during the Second World War he supervised the information films for the Canadian Government.
